- In the midst of his Beethoven cycle Alfred Brendel, who is also a great Schubert interpreter, has returned to Schubert's popular Trout Quintet. The famous melody of the Trout variations is known to all music lovers. Joined by a group of hand-picked young musicians including the violinist Thomas Zehetmair and violist Tabea Zimmermann. And as though the Trout wasn't enough, Brendel also recorded for the first time Mozart's G minor Piano Quartet.
