RECORDING INFORMATION
Albinoni's name is associated almost exclusively with the Adagio in G minor which can be found in the Duo catalogue together with the complete Concertos, Op. 9 (456 333-2).

The Venetian composer, whose great admirers, including Johann Sebastian Bach, not only turned out more than 50 operas and a whole series of cantatas, but also wrote cycles of instrumental concertos, which, as can be heard throughout the present recording of the complete Concertos Op. 5, and Op. 7, literally bubble over with fresh ideas and variety.

The performers of these recordings include I Musici and Vittorio Negri, all being specialists in performing Baroque music of Italian origin.

More than 160 minutes of music on two CDs for the price of one CD only!
